Responsibilities
- Performs all decontamination functions for surgical instrumentation and equipment using proper infection control techniques.
- Performs the assembly of surgical instrumentation and equipment and prepares them for sterilization.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment.
- Manages instrument inventory to assure timely distribution of instruments to the operating room.
Requirements
- Follows all manufacturer's recommendations as required.
- Initiates repairs and performs required maintenance as needed.
