Responsibilities

  • The position accurately tracks and trends the Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) and OSHA recordkeeping requirements, using data to drive preventative strategies
  • Leads the facility's Environmental Sustainability initiatives.
  • Calculates and tracks the site's CO2 Footprint (Scope 1 & 2 emissions), identifying energy-saving opportunities in our thermal oxidizers and coating lines to drive down carbon intensity
  • Manage the NPDES wastewater permit and maintain the SPCC and Stormwater (SWPPP) plans.
  • The HSE Facilitator supports reporting any releases under CERCLA and ensuring all secondary containment systems are compliant

Requirements

  • Experience in influencing large groups of personnel
  • Must be able to develop and deliver presentations to groups of personnel
  • To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some or all of the following
  • Experience in heavy industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or equivalent professional experience and/or education plus experience combination
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • 24 Hour HAZWOPER certification

Compensation

  • Manage all federal "Right-to-Know" reporting, including annual SARA Title III Tier II chemical inventories and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI/Form R)
