About the role
- Location: Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology Pay Range: $19.66 - $34.59 Job Description Summary: Assist physician and RNs in the care of patients.
- The LPN will adhere to ONS standards and guidelines.
- May assist in maintaining test report logs, quality control logs, equipment records, and checklists according to all regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- May perform technical laboratory procedures in a timely manner with accuracy and precision, meeting the standards of all accrediting/regulatory agencies
- Responsible to perform Port Access procedures appropriately.
Requirements
- If required within the state in which they work an approved 30 hour IV certification course would be mandatory or successful completion of 30 hour IV certification course within 90 days of employment.
- Current CPR and BLS certification is required.
- Fluency in the English language as well as excellent oral and written communication skills is required. #AONN

- Have working knowledge of dispensing medications via Nucleus.
Nice to have
- Appropriate state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in IV therapy in clinic or hospital is preferred.
