About the role
- Ability to work flexible hours and alternate shifts.
- Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge and skill levels in: Area of expertise to ensure production of high quality images; Safe operation of equipment and accessories with proper warm-up exposure, daily QC and good reporting techniques.
- Maintains HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements
- Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs.
- Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required.
- Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
- Minimum Work Experience: New Graduate or 1 year of general radiology experience required.
Nice to have
- New Graduate or 1 year of general radiology experience required.
- Sonography and pediatric experience preferred.
Skills
- Performs correct exam on correct patient
- Follows the PACS and Meditech workflow
- Consults with the radiologist on duty to assure correct scanning parameters when necessary
- Demonstrates a caring and interested manner.
- Utilizes hospital resources and time respectfully and accountably.
Compensation
- $20k-$30k
Benefits
- Minimum Education: Director-Radiology/ Department Manager
- License/Certification Required: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) within one year of completing the ultrasound program.
