Perform day-to-day accounting operations activities including expense reports/system administration, bill review, and cash and credit card reconciliations for multiple portfolio companies. Management of the AR function as applicable.
Perform the month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities timely and accurately, including posting and preparation of journal entries, external research and accrual tracking, and reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts for multiple portfolio companies in accordance with the monthly close calendar.
Manage fixed assets and finance & operating leases, ensuring that policies and accounting guidance are followed. Tracking of orders, delivery, and in-service dates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations.
Maintain and reconcile information across multiple systems, including NetSuite, NSPB, Expensify, Coupa, LeaseQuery, as well as support integration of any new systems and/or processes the team engages in.
Support company transitions as they grow up and grow out, as well as supporting mergers of existing companies.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting or a high-growth tech/life sciences company
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP)
Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of attention to detail
This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

The salary range for this role is $76,000 - $121,000.
