About the role
- Physical Therapists are r esponsible for supporting patient care and supporting clinic success by: Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient's referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking.
- Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients concerns and goals.
- Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients' goals.
Responsibilities
- Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care for patients to include the patient's goals and expected outcomes of the plan.
- Evaluating and documenting patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed.
