- Respond to consults and nutrition referrals within the established time frame Facility and or based on department policy and patient outcome
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition interventions as needed
- Participate in Hospitalist rounding, interdisciplinary meetings, and/or discharge rounds as needed.
- Communicates and coordinated meals, supplements, and enteral feeding regimen with the FNS staff
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and hospital policies
- Serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns
- Bachelor's degree required for candidates who obtained their RDN credential prior to January 1, 2024
- Master's degree required for candidates obtaining their RDN credential on or after January 1, 2024.
