About the role
- This position is for the 2026 academic year and will begin in late August 2026.
- Be on time and ready to work when scheduled
- Monitor the Esports lounge while on duty
Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled full time Durham College student in good standing for the 2026/27 Academic Year (September 2026 - April 2027)
- Knowledge of video games and gaming systems (Console and PC) including their connectivity and capability
- Knowledge of gaming console and basic PC troubleshooting considered an asset
- Ability to speak and communicate about the DCSA, its values, mission, and services and supporting our front office and event team
- Knowledge about streaming and stream setup is considered an asset
- The ability to multitask
- The ability to work in a team and independently
- The ability to solve problems
- Knowledgeable about Discord and its functionality
- Availability to occasionally work nights and weeknights
