About the role

This role will operate out of either our Mississauga or Kitchener yards, with flexibility to report to both locations as operational needs require.

You will work closely with dispatch while operating independently in the field to deliver portable storage units safely and efficiently throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Deliver and pick up units throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and safety checks.
Maintain compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of yard areas.
Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance on containers.

Experience driving a gooseneck trailer.
Experience operating commercial vehicles such as F-series trucks or similar equipment.
Forklift certification or equivalent experience required.
Strong understanding of vehicle safety inspections and load securement.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Support regional team members as required.
Valid Ontario Class AR license (minimum) with a clean driver's abstract.
Mechanically inclined with basic repair capability.
General Maintenance skills essentials.
Comfortable using tablets, GPS systems, and mobile technology.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

About the Division
Throughout the region, we also operate as Make Space Storage with multiple self-storage facilities across Ontario.
Ideally, the successful candidate resides in the Milton area to allow efficient access to both sites.
This is not just a driving role.
You must be comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and staying productive without direct supervision.
3+ years of professional driving experience preferred.
