- Job Description The Senior Direct Investment Manager is a hands-on, strategic role responsible for the execution, performance, and growth of Direct Buys and Affiliate Partnerships for Gerber Life.
Responsibilities
- Affiliate Strategy & Management: Develop and implement comprehensive affiliate marketing strategies that align with client business goals for revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Program Ownership: Manage the full lifecycle of affiliate programs, including partner recruitment, onboarding, relationship management, and ongoing optimization. This involves day-to-day oversight and strategic direction.
- Platform Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of affiliate networks and platforms including Impact, Rakuten, Everflow, CJ, Pepperjam/Ascend, and AWIN to ensure best-in-class program management.
- Acting as both operator and integrator, this individual ensures campaigns are effectively planned, executed, and optimized to drive measurable business outcomes in a highly regulated financial services environment.
- This role plays a critical part in building and managing relationships with premium publishers, (d)OOH vendors, and a diverse network of affiliate partners (such as NerdWallet and Forbes).
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the technical nuances of long-cycle lead generation, acts as a strict gatekeeper for audience quality, and brings a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Requirements
- 5+ years of affiliate experience - agency experience is required.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to influence C-suite clients and executives with data-driven strategy.
- Deep expertise within major affiliate marketing platforms (e.g., Impact, Rakuten, CJ, Everflow).
- Experience in integrated marketing principles and experience integrating Affiliate with PR, influencer and performance marketing strategies.
