Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing process improvements through automation, workstation design, line balancing, and lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Support production operations by troubleshooting process issues, removing constraints, and ensuring smooth workflow with minimal downtime.
- Implement and sustain lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kanban, standard work, visual management, and Kaizen events.
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, ergonomic solutions, and testing methods to enhance safety, quality, repeatability, and throughput.
- Lead and support quality initiatives, including PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, process validation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and audit activities.
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including BOMs, routings, work instructions, labor standards, and process audits.
- Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve problems, support new product introductions, and drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, production, or quality operations in an engineering role.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience designing or improving tooling, fixtures, workstations, and ergonomic solutions.
- Familiarity with PFMEA, DFMEA, control plans, PPAP, audits, corrective actions, and quality systems.
- Experience with production documentation, ERP systems, BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
- Understanding of statistical analysis, process capability, measurement systems, and quality improvement tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- This posiiton is Monday -Thursday 10 hour shifts.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation, manufacturing test systems, and production engineering processes preferred.

- Evaluate process performance using statistical methods and process capability analysis to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Compensation
- For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year.
- At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range.
- Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location.
- Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
- This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
