Requirements

  • J.D. Degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • At least three years of prior law school teaching experience or at least seven years of practice experience required.
  • Teach first-year, upper division required, and elective classes
  • Recognized academic and professional background
  • Must give unmistakable promise of ability for excellent teaching, scholarship, service, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Clear demonstration of commitment to the mission as evidenced by past scholarship
  • Commitment to student mentoring and professional development
  • Enthusiasm for working with law students

Compensation

  • Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
  • The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's rank, contract length, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
  • $95,200.00 - $150,000.00
