About the role
- Step into a high-impact role at the forefront of a paradigm shift in electrical infrastructure.
- This isn't just a sales role; it is an evangelist position.
- You will be responsible for disrupting traditional power distribution models, overcoming the inertia of "how it's always been done," and securing high-level executive buy-in for a "new-to-world" technology.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Overlay: Act as the elite "closer" and strategist for the broader sales organization. You will not just support deals
- you will design the "Big Picture" strategy.
- Market Creation: Leverage your existing professional network to build an independent sales pipeline. You will move beyond existing channels to find new opportunities across multiple verticals.
- Compelling Value Engineering: Author and deliver high-stakes proposals that justify FMPS through TCO analysis, real-estate reclamation, and labor-cost reduction.
- Independence: The ability to prospect and close without relying on legacy channel leads. You bring your own network of influencers in the MEP and IT consulting space.
- You will not just support deals; you will design the "Big Picture" strategy.
- Executive Engagement: Navigate complex stakeholder maps-from MEP consultants and general contractors to CTOs-to drive adoption of FMPS.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in high-level power products (UPS, PDUs, or specialized distribution) and IT infrastructure.
- You must be able to hold your own in a room full of electrical engineers and MEPs.
- Exceptional communication skills with the gravitas required to influence decision-makers at the highest levels of a target organization.
- You are the "face of FMP," ensuring that every customer interaction elevates Panduit's reputation for innovation and reliability.
- The "New Tech" Pedigree: A proven track record of successfully introducing and selling disruptive or "new-to-world" technologies.
- You know how to cross the "chasm" from early adopters to the mainstream.
- Power & IT Fluency: 2-5 years of experience in high-level power products (UPS, PDUs, or specialized distribution) and IT infrastructure.
- Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the gravitas required to influence decision-makers at the highest levels of a target organization.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Compensation
- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000.
- This role qualifies for a sales incentive plan.
