About the role
- 150Bond provides high-level strategic advice to C-level executives helping them to amplify their message and grow their network.
- We work with high-growth tech startups, top-tier VCs, and Fortune 500s.
- We work with a diverse range of clients across fintech, sustainability, web3, venture capital, and B2B enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to 150Bond managing partners and liaise with clients on their behalf
- Serve as the account expert and maintain knowledge of everything that is going on with the account. Employ this expertise to anticipate upcoming account needs.
- Lead business development initiatives and continuously build a strong pipeline of clients
- Develops Talent: Develops people to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals.
- Manages Complexity: Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
- We have an opening on our New York team for an ambitious and dynamic Account Director with established relationships in media to help drive communications strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications across a variety of sectors
- Experience advising senior leaders across an organization
- Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- A strong network of reporter relationships including top-tier and trade
- Values honest communication, continuous learning opportunities and open dialogue
- Project manager and agency experience
- Broad enterprise client experience across technology and business
- A team player with strong leadership qualities, and a proven ability to delegate and manage a team
- Strong written and communication skills
- Have an interest in and solid understanding of the tech topics of today from AI to blockchain
- Have a passion and interest in media, messaging, and storytelling
