About the role
- Ensures that all patient, physician, and staff complaints are appropriate addressed in accordance with University policies.
- Monitors the activities and operations of the assigned units to ensure goals and objectives are met.
- Oversees compliance with regulatory agencies and professional organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- They will develop close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the research enterprise to sustain the core academic mission of the cancer center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
- Must have the ability to create and implement strategic plans with measurable goals.
- The Executive Director will participate in Administrative on-call duties as needed or required.
Nice to have
- Clinical background as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) strongly preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of multidisciplinary care delivery, clinical workflows, and patient-centered care.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required
- APRN/RN with oncology and inpatient experience highly preferred
- Process improvement/leadership experience
