About the role
- The CMA/MA/LPN, under the direction of the physician or other designated licensed staff, provides routine patient care in an ambulatory setting.
- Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination/procedure, sterilization of medical instruments and administering medications as directed by provider or designee.
- Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records and filling out insurance forms/paperwork.

- Manages patient flow and performs patient rooming workflows.

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA); or
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
