Responsibilities

  • Building and supporting a pipeline that processes up to billions of items, frequently employing ML models on these datasets Creating services that provide Search or other Information Retrieval capabilities at low latency on datasets of hundreds of millions of items Maintain and enhance production systems, ensuring availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Build monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to reduce manual intervention.

Compensation

  • $80,800 - $143,600 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.

  • Diagnose and resolve production issues.
  • Continuously improve operational efficiency through tooling, automation, and best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • What you will bring Passion and commitment for technical excellence B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent professional experience 2+ years of years of software engineering experience in production/operational environments.
  • Strong coding skills in Java (required), with hands-on experience building and supporting production applications using Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Kotlin, Python, C++, or similar languages is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and experience developing microservice-based applications using Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk), and CI/CD pipelines.
