Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with U.S.-based leaders, product, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and drive business impact.
  • Technical Direction: Provide guidance on architecture, system design, and best practices as we transition from monolith to microservices and serverless platforms.
  • As Engineering Manager, you will build and grow a high-performing engineering team, foster a culture of ownership and innovation, and deliver impactful solutions in partnership with U.S. counterparts and business leaders.
  • This role is about more than managing delivery-it's about shaping an engineering organization that consistently delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure products that protect millions of children and families.

Nice to have

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering management role.
  • Experience guiding teams through platform transformations (e.g., monolith to microservices, cloud/serverless adoption).
  • Strong background in backend systems using Python
  • exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Angular) a plus.
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and modern DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across geographies.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
