Requirements
- Advanced Degree MD or PhD or alternative route to obtaining a NYSDOH Certificate of Qualification
- Licensures Required: New York State Certificate of Qualification for Laboratory Directorship
- Proven work experience as a Clinical Laboratory Director or similar role.

- Board Certification
- Certifications Preferred: Board Certification
- Minimum Year Experience Preferred: 2+ years in a hospital-based clinical laboratory or reference laboratory.

- Required
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Experience with quality assurance and health and safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with automated laboratory systems.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation
- The base pay scale for this position is $61.54 - $93.89.
- The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
