Lead the design, development, and maintenance of WiFi firmware for wireless access points and networking routers, owning features from concept through production.
Drive WiFi subsystem bring-up on new hardware platforms, including antenna tuning, RF calibration, and PHY/MAC layer integration.
Implement, optimize, and debug IEEE 802.11 protocols (802.11ax/WiFi 6, 802.11be/WiFi 7) Develop and maintain Linux-based embedded systems, including bootloaders, kernel modules, and wireless device drivers (mac80211, cfg80211, FullMAC/SoftMAC).
Lead the integration and customization of open-source wireless platforms such as OpenWRT, hostapd, and wpa_supplicant into production firmware.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, QA, and product management to define WiFi feature roadmaps and deliver on time.
To build solutions never seen before to some of the world's toughest problems.

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus.
New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually.
Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target.
