Position Description ENSCO Rail, Inc. is seeking a Junior Technician to join our team for railroad track inspection operations.
This role involves the use of measurement tools, electronics troubleshooting, and computer operation.

Background Check Type: 7 Year Pre-Employment
Drug Screen Required: Pre-Employment Drug and Random Alcohol and Drug (FRA)
Aptitude for proficiency with software applications aboard track measurement survey vehicles, including ENSCO's proprietary applications.
This position requires the successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation. Qualified applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years for this requirement.
Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word; Excel; PowerPoint; and Outlook.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System; transferring files on a network, copying, and pasting.
Proficiency with tape measure and similar measuring tools.
Functional knowledge of mathematics and fraction measurements.
Valid Driver's License and able to complete a Department of Transportation medical examination to acquire a Commercial Driver Medical Certification.
Must be able to travel independently for business purposes, including but not limited to booking independent vehicle rental and hotel accommodations.

This position requires the successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical field involving troubleshooting and problem resolution, or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience.
Experience with workplace safety programs.
Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word
Experience reading electrical or electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience conducting equipment/machinery inspections (periodic maintenance inspections, preventive maintenance) and equipment upkeep.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System
