  • Position Description ENSCO Rail, Inc. is seeking a Junior Technician to join our team for railroad track inspection operations.
  • This role involves the use of measurement tools, electronics troubleshooting, and computer operation.

Requirements

  • Background Check Type: 7 Year Pre-Employment
  • Drug Screen Required: Pre-Employment Drug and Random Alcohol and Drug (FRA)
  • Aptitude for proficiency with software applications aboard track measurement survey vehicles, including ENSCO's proprietary applications.
  • This position requires the successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation. Qualified applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years for this requirement.
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word; Excel; PowerPoint; and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System; transferring files on a network, copying, and pasting.
  • Proficiency with tape measure and similar measuring tools.
  • Functional knowledge of mathematics and fraction measurements.
  • Valid Driver's License and able to complete a Department of Transportation medical examination to acquire a Commercial Driver Medical Certification.
  • Must be able to travel independently for business purposes, including but not limited to booking independent vehicle rental and hotel accommodations.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical field involving troubleshooting and problem resolution, or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience.
  • Experience with workplace safety programs.
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word
  • Experience reading electrical or electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience conducting equipment/machinery inspections (periodic maintenance inspections, preventive maintenance) and equipment upkeep.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System

Compensation

  • $24.46 - $36.22 USD
