- Position Description ENSCO Rail, Inc. is seeking a Junior Technician to join our team for railroad track inspection operations.
- This role involves the use of measurement tools, electronics troubleshooting, and computer operation.
Requirements
- Background Check Type: 7 Year Pre-Employment
- Drug Screen Required: Pre-Employment Drug and Random Alcohol and Drug (FRA)
- Aptitude for proficiency with software applications aboard track measurement survey vehicles, including ENSCO's proprietary applications.
- This position requires the successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation. Qualified applicants must have resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years for this requirement.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word; Excel; PowerPoint; and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System; transferring files on a network, copying, and pasting.
- Proficiency with tape measure and similar measuring tools.
- Functional knowledge of mathematics and fraction measurements.
- Valid Driver's License and able to complete a Department of Transportation medical examination to acquire a Commercial Driver Medical Certification.
- Must be able to travel independently for business purposes, including but not limited to booking independent vehicle rental and hotel accommodations.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical field involving troubleshooting and problem resolution, or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 1 year of experience.
- Experience with workplace safety programs.
- Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word
- Experience reading electrical or electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience conducting equipment/machinery inspections (periodic maintenance inspections, preventive maintenance) and equipment upkeep.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating System
Compensation
- $24.46 - $36.22 USD
