Responsibilities
- Negotiating and/or drafting basic agreements/legal documents under an attorney's supervision, including but not limited to talent agreements; production term sheets; clip license agreements; acquisition deal memos and agreements; vendor agreements; amendments; etc.
- Assisting in production of documents for attorneys (status reports, research, summaries, due diligence requests, notices, correspondence, etc.).
- Preparing and maintaining records, reports, and documents for compliance purposes.
- Handle sensitive tasks/documents with complete confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements
- College degree with a Paralegal certificate (or equivalent).
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work late evenings, and occasional holidays or weekends per business need.
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Nice to have
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Paralegal in the entertainment industry (production background a plus).
