About the role

  • The Aviation Avionics Technician will be a key member of our Maintenance and Engineering team, supporting the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft avionics systems.
  • This role works closely with A&P mechanics, quality personnel, engineers, and flight operations to ensure aircraft systems are safe, compliant, and mission ready.
  • You will join a collaborative, safety-driven team that values technical excellence, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • From design to delivery, Aery provides turnkey, bespoke solutions for our clientele.

Requirements

  • Supporting scheduled inspections, unscheduled maintenance, and Aircraft-on-Ground (AOG) events as required
  • The ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Must be able to use aviation tooling (i.e., crimpers, multimeter, soldering, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of aircraft avionics, electrical systems, and test equipment
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, maintenance documentation, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manufacturer manuals
  • Willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, or AOG support as required
  • Ability to pass required background checks and maintain compliance with safety policies

Nice to have

  • A&P Certificate is preferred

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and installation drawings to facilitate relevant system inspections, troubleshooting and installations, to include wire harness fabrication

  • Documenting maintenance actions accurately in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures
