Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services using modern programming practices and development tools.
- Collaborate with product, quality engineering, architecture, and operations teams to deliver releases that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design artifacts, support procedures, and implementation details.
- Apply secure coding practices, testing discipline, and version control standards to support software quality and operational reliability.
- Experience communicating technical concepts, documenting solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or distributed systems development using object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or a similar language.
- 8+ years of experience designing, building, testing, and supporting software applications in production environments.
- 8+ years of experience working with application programming interfaces (APIs), data stores, source control, and modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience using debugging, performance analysis, automated testing, and code review practices to improve software quality and reliability.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Experience supporting payment, fintech, commerce, or other regulated technology environments.
- Experience with observability tools, production monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Experience contributing to architectural decisions for high-availability and high-throughput systems.
