About the role
- ESSENTIAL SKILLS: The person will have the ability to: 1.
- Provide direct and/or standby assistance for feeding, toileting, health care, and related medical services, etc., for students as legally allowable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain information about any student, parent, and/or staff confidential.
Requirements
- Must be willing to receive additional training to improve job skills.
Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience working with students, students with disabilities, or as a trainer is preferred 4.
- Must be willing to perform personal care for students as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with Administration, co-workers, students, and parents.
- Must have good oral/written communication, comprehension, and math skills.
- Must have a good attendance history.
- Must have a valid driver's license with less than 3 points to be able to drive District vehicles.
Skills
- The person will have the ability to: 1.
- Able to teach basic and intermediate vocational skills necessary to obtain a job.
- Collect and calculate instructional data collected through observation and/or student work.
- Maintenance and disinfecting of classroom equipment. 2. Other related duties as assigned.
- Safely transport students to various locations in the community using a school-provided vehicle (minivan).
- Have a positive attitude in working with students, parents, other staff members, and community members 11.
