Responsibilities

  • to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that creates opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life.
  • We are currently seeking a College Financing Coordinator within the Wealth Builds team.
  • This role will report to the Director of College Financing and collaborate closely with program staff and scholars across the organization.
  • This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, scholars, and external partners.
  • Who You Are Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Manage scholar communications and maintain accurate tracking of applications, awards, and inquiries using Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, and Google Workspace.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on scholar progress, participation rates, and program outcomes for leadership review.
  • Collaborate with HCZ departments to ensure timely follow-up with scholars and families, maintaining a response turnaround of 48 hours for inquiries.
  • Assist in outreach efforts to strengthen relationships with community partners and financial institutions.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Director and Assistant Director, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in program coordination, providing college-related services, student services, and administrative support.

Nice to have

  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data management tools ( Salesforce experience strongly preferred ).

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

Compensation

  • Support the planning and execution of 12-15 workshops and events per year, including financial literacy sessions, scholarship orientations, and parent engagement meetings.

Benefits

  • Bachelor's degree required; coursework or experience in education, finance, case management, or social services preferred.
