About the role

  • We place candidates on a permanent, full time basis (no contract or contract-to-hire positions).
  • This is an in-office position with occasional on-site visits to client locations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with server maintenance, network configurations, and cloud services support (Microsoft 365, Azure, etc.).
  • Handle escalations from Tier 1 support and communicate with vendors as needed.
  • Document work thoroughly in our ticketing and documentation systems.
  • Tier 2 IT Support Engineer (MSP Environment - In Office + Field Work)

Requirements

  • Occasionally visit client sites to resolve issues or complete hands-on installations (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required).
  • Do you enjoy troubleshooting challenging issues and working directly with clients to make their IT lives easier?

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.)
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery platforms
  • Exposure to scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, etc.)
  • 2-4 years of experience in an MSP or similar multi-client IT support environment.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, routers/switches).
  • Comfortable working with RMM and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Datto, Autotask, etc.).
  • Great communication skills-both with team members and non-technical clients.

Compensation

  • Up to $75,000/year
