Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical panels
- Create electrical schematics and electrical cabinet layout using AutoCAD electrical
- Use manufacturer's software to develop BOMs
- Support automation and controls technicians with their projects
- Develop electrical parts list for the project
- Design low to medium complexity machine guarding strategies that comply with OSHA and ANSI standards, to ensure the safety of our Greenheck teammates
- Post machine installation troubleshooting and support
- Perform design calculations to determine component sizing, overload protection, motor sizing, wire sizing, and circuit sizing
- As an Automation Engineer I/II for Greenheck Group you will design, program, assemble, and install electrical controls used in machines and tooling systems.
- Support the Automation and Controls team with their projects, as well as providing post machine installation troubleshooting and support.
Requirements
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone.
- The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as:
- Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience required.
- 4 Year / bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering required.
Nice to have
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of job experience required.
- 4 Year / bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Compensation
- Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program.
- The starting base pay range for this position is $77,235 - $117,552 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
