About the role
- Innovative, results and process-driven Petro-technical professional specializing in a geoscience field.
- Gathers and combines geological observations and datasets, such as well logs, seismic data,
- Interprets and analyzes well logs and prepares structure, isopach and net pay maps.
Responsibilities
- Applies geological interpretation to map or model reservoirs to efficiently and economically manage hydrocarbon extraction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Data Analytics, Petroleum Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of applied experience in upstream oil and gas (internships or academic research in relevant areas count)
- Familiarity with interpretation and mapping software
- Working knowledge of geological and geophysical datasets and basic E&P workflows
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Ability to meet deadlines
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Data Analytics, Petroleum Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of applied experience in upstream oil and gas
Skills
- Demonstrates fundamental log analysis skills & understanding of key well logs
Compensation
- Level and salary commensurate with experience.
