About the role

  • Oversees regulatory reporting across multiple entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant submissions to federal agencies such as the FDIC and Federal Reserve.
  • Directs the monthly financial close process.
  • Reviews financial results, key estimates, and supporting activities to ensure alignment with accounting standards and business objectives.

  • Leads the implementation of new or updated regulatory requirements by updating procedures, integrating reporting changes (e.g., new data fields), and ensuring staff are properly trained to maintain compliance with evolving standards.
  • Works at an advanced level to apply appropriate analytical processes and procedures to support research schedules.
  • Works at an advanced level to communicate and deliver information verbally in a clear, concise and compelling manner to other people.

Requirements

  • Works at an advanced level to review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required.

Nice to have

  • Minimum of five years of practical business experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting policy implementation is preferred.

Skills

  • Works at an advanced level to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • CPA credential is preferred.
  • Public accounting audit experience is preferred.
