About the role

  • You will bring new ideas to directly shape our app development and products beyond our established work.
  • You will work with a modern tech stack using Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
  • You will use your skills for Frontend and Backend technologies built on top of Next.js.

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with our UI/UX team to develop the best possible experiences for our users.
  • You will help design maintainable and scalable software architectures.
  • You will collaborate with colleagues across the engineering organization through cross-functional working groups and our RFC process.
  • We support flexibility where it makes sense.
  • (The final offer depends on your background, skills, and how you perform through the process.

Requirements

  • You've been doing this for 5+ years.
  • You have built and maintained scalable apps.
  • You can make trade-offs between speed and quality.
  • You're fluent with RESTful APIs, worked with Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions, Cypress, or Testing Library, and have some experience with Ruby on Rails.

  • You've shipped and scaled AI features to production.

Compensation

  • We're open to considering mid, senior and staff-level candidates, which may result in an adjustment to the scope and compensation)
  • $205,000 - $235,000
