About the role

  • This position is responsible for delivering high quality instruction and student assessment in a Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • designing curriculum and maintaining accreditation status of the program
  • establishing an effective recruitment, retention, completion and placement plan.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate student outcome achievement using multiple methodologies and maintain accurate student records.
  • Develop new and update existing curriculum to meet the changing needs of the workplace.
  • Support student success through advising, and assisting individual students
  • Lead the Physical Therapist Assistant Advisory Committee.
  • Complete reports and maintain adherence to criteria for specialized accreditation
  • Maintain equipment and supplies for the Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years credentialed professional experience in Physical Therapy;
  • Some lifting of computer and electronic equipment may be required.

Nice to have

  • Terminal degree preferred (DPT, Ph.D., or Ed.D.) (degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university);
  • Administrative experience in academic governance, fiscal management, human resource management preferred;

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Compensation

  • Pay rate is $67,936.00 | Open until filled.
