The traditional, one-size-fits-all utility approach — with complicated bills and frustrating customer service — no longer works. At Light, we make it easy to get affordable, renewable electricity by embedding power with the products that consumers already use, from the companies they love.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical primary for new partners, moving them from contract to "first customer" with urgency.
You will manage the technical relationship, advise on and review their integration, and execute the hands-on technical setups for each new partner.
Coordinate across Light's teams and partner teams to deliver on technical initiatives such as new hardware/device connections or major API updates.
You'll roll up your sleeves alongside the founders and early team to help build how our partners implement, launch, and scale their energy programs.
You will also be a "bridge" between our partners' developers and our own product and engineering teams, building a successful feedback loop to make sure our programs launch seamlessly, perform exceptionally, and expand.
You'll work with Light's Partner Success team and our partners' teams to align priorities, drive impact, and build the systems that make our partner motion scalable and repeatable.
Own partner launch implementations: Act as the technical primary for new partners, moving them from contract to "first customer" with urgency.
Own complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects: Coordinate across Light's teams and partner teams to deliver on technical initiatives such as new hardware/device connections or major API updates.

Nice to have

An analytical problem solver, who spots issues, uncovers root causes, and uses data to troubleshoot issues, prioritize effectively, and influence decisions.
An outcome-oriented project manager, bringing extreme clarity, focus, and follow-through to complex workstreams, ensuring no ball is dropped.
Experienced and in Austin, 5-7+ years of experience (ideally in technical or solutions roles) and the ability to work 5 days per week in office.
