About the role
- The Director of Pricing will be the architect and custodian of ClarityPay's core economics.
- This role is highly strategic, directly influencing our competitive edge, merchant partnerships, and overall portfolio health.
- We are looking for a hands-on leader who is committed to optimizing the entire pricing infrastructure and streamlining the processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing segments at merchant level, and determine line sizes, terms and APRs that best meet the needs of the customer.
- Incorporate competitor analysis to develop product mixes that are likely to lead to conversion.
- Build and enforce pricing methodologies that ensure complete clarity and simplicity in all customer disclosures, eliminating guesswork and fully embodying our commitment to transparency.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Data Science, and Product teams to align pricing strategy with underwriting philosophy and go-to-market execution.
- You will own the end-of-the-end pricing strategy, designing the financial structure that balances risk, profitability, and customer fairness across our platform.
Requirements
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts and risk profiles into simple, competitive, and transparent product offers.
- Data Acumen: High proficiency in statistical analysis and advanced financial modeling tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ability to automate pricing models for quick turnaround on new requests.
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights and influence senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Statistics, or a highly quantitative field.
- Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts and risk profiles into simple, competitive, and transparent product offers.
- High proficiency in statistical analysis and advanced financial modeling tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel) to drive data-informed decision-making.
