About the role
- This position plays a key role in supporting the strategic direction of our product assortment across multiple brands.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update merchandising charts
- Support assortment planning by identifying gaps and opportunities based on market trends, competition, and historical performance
- create and manage seasonal color codes
- Collaborate with the Merchandise Manager to ensure all tools and materials are accurate and aligned with the development calendar
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage sample logistics and seasonal hand-offs
- Maintain and update merchandising charts; distribute relevant information to internal teams
- Assign seasonal colors to styles; create and manage seasonal color codes
- Dana-co, a leading design house specializing in luxury intimate apparel, is seeking a Merchandising Assistant to join our New York-based team.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in intimate apparel or a luxury fashion brand
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
