Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of strategies, tools, and metrics to drive overall organizational growth and lead strategic projects aligned with the organization's mission
  • Lead a team of Solution Consultants, maximizing their potential to support Workiva's sales objectives
  • Maintain the Solution Consulting team's training and motivation to ensure goal attainment
  • Create and optimize processes, metrics, and infrastructure to enhance team productivity and achieve team goals
  • Manage resource allocation, conflict resolution, and feedback collection on sales opportunities, product features, competition, and methodologies
  • Provide comprehensive presales support for all sales activities, encompassing needs analysis, data review, product demonstrations, and general sales support, taking on a player/coach role

Requirements

  • 4 years of direct people management experience, including supervisory experience of supervisor and/or individual contributors
  • Experience in accounting, finance, and/or reporting either directly or through prior Pre-Sales experience
  • Undergraduate degree with 8 years related experience, or Master's degree with minimum of 6 years related experience, or PhD with 4 years related experience
  • Workiva employees are required to undergo comprehensive security and privacy training tailored to their roles, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Nice to have

  • Ability to discuss technical terminology and best practices for SaaS applications
  • Ability to identify and resolve development, marketing, or sales obstacles through strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong business background, with significant client interface experience and exposure to business development
  • Hands-on experience with Workiva solutions preferred
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, IBM and cloud applications such as Host Analytics, Anaplan, Salesforce, etc is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests

Compensation

  • 196,000.00 - 315,000.00 USD Annual ✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance
  • The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
