About the role
- Repair equipment, vehicles, snowmobiles, small engines in accordance with S SRC quality and efficiency standards under direction by management and higher level technicians
- Service equipment daily - vehicles, snowcats, snowmobiles, small engines - diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, hydraulics, etc. to specification following direction by management.
- Repair orders - work on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with standards.

Requirements
- 1 year of mechanic coursework
- Must have basic computer competency
- Ability to interpret and understand basic documented standards and procedures including work orders and maintenance repair manuals
- a successful motor vehicle record background check is required
- Must be familiar with all types of shop equipment such as tire changing machine, wheel balance, jacks
- Must have valid drivers license and meet company's insurance carrier requirement
- Must be able to lift 50lbs at various heights and/or uneven terrain.
- Must be able to walk on uneven terrain.

Compensation
- The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position.
