Responsibilities

  • Performs planning function in accordance with GT global and plant standards.
  • Uses capacity planning tools paired with contractual obligations and current inventories. Identifies patterns or future capacity constraints that affect manufacturing. Performs analysis regarding capacity management and pro-actively manages capacity
  • Support Planning tools for short-term requirements (SAP Finite Scheduling, SAP Exception Message Management), inventory management/optimization, and MRP software (SAP ECC)
  • Ability to collaborate cross functional teams and execute a process driven disciplined approached

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing environment with bachelor's degree / 5+ years of in manufacturing environment without bachelor's degree
  • A solid knowledge of ERP Systems, master data, and capacity planning
  • Ability to plan and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and dynamically changing environment.
  • Solid skills related to logic and/or math-based analysis are required.
  • Ability to think strategic and analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis.
  • Makes recommendations for lot sizing, and other master data related to material masters and routers as required.
  • Identifies issues affecting delivery dates and advises Sales, Customer Service, and/or other planners as required.

  • $16k-$45k
