About the role

  • The Process Engineer demonstrates knowledge of various process assembly joining technologies, methods, and standard procedures, with an extensive knowledge of GD&T, and quality concerns for product and processes.
  • They are capable of being forward-facing customer contact representative for CAT.

Responsibilities

  • The Process Engineer (AME) has a solid foundation of technical knowledge and skills acquired through previous experience and is capable to take on multiple projects, analyzing existing tools, assembly processes, and product designs to optimize and identify quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Years of Experience: 3+ years' experience on manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of automation concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and actively contribute to group projects and discussions.

  • Robotic Simulation software
  • Visual components / Process Simulate / Delmia
  • Save client correspondence, store and track data as per CAT guidelines
  • Attains strictly to Scope of Work & delivery dates
  • Troubleshoots process issues, conducting root cause analysis, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Occasionally uses basic negotiation and influencing skills to deal with difficult situations
  • Refers unique problems to the appropriate person in a timely fashion providing context.

Compensation

  • CAD$70.000 - CAD$80.000
