About the role
- This position will apply architectural design principles to develop system architectures and lead the integration of engineering disciplines to implement designs that enable the successful launch of life-saving oncology systems in a competitive market.
- This role will be responsible for developing architecture and design while informing requirements, verification, and validation.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary product development teams to implement the project's interoperability requirements.
- Document system capabilities in product/project deliverables.
- Create and maintain the product ICD, including tailored versions when needed.
- Own the creation and maintenance of the DICOM Conformance Statement.
- Drive interoperability testing, troubleshooting, and certification efforts, including participation in IHE Connectathons or similar integration validation activities.
- Mentor engineers within the team to build broader team knowledge and capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-related field.
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Customer-facing experience in collecting tailored needs.
- Extensive hands-on experience with DICOM standards and IHE integration profiles, including implementation, validation, and troubleshooting of interoperability workflows.
