About the role
- The firm is based in Los Angeles, with additional offices in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Charlotte.
- Intrepid is the middle-market advisory arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (NYSE: MUFG), one of the largest financial groups in the world.
- The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships with deal referral sources and business owners
- Identifying, qualifying, and generating new prospect leads
- Leading a specific practice or product area, as applicable, and developing thought leadership in target sectors
- Assisting other bankers in firm building activities (training, recruiting, mentoring, etc.)
- Ability to engage with prospects and intermediaries, develop relationships, and work seamlessly as a bridge for introducing other senior bankers into these relationships
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of industry specific M&A

- 10-plus years of experience in sell-side M&A advisory
- FINRA Series 7, 63 or 79 license, Series 24 preferred
Compensation
- The typical base pay for this role is $275,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
