About the role

The RHVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment in commercial environments.
The role requires a solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, inspecting refrigerant levels, calibrating sensors, and checking for system leaks.

Must be able to pass pre-employment DMV check, drug screening and background check.
EPA Certification is required.
OSHA 10-Hour certification required within 30 days of employment (company provided training available).

Ability to store company issued vehicle preferred.
Refrigeration license required as defined by State(s) regulations and preferred in all areas.
High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment necessary for RHVAC installation and repair.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as refrigeration principles.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical diagrams and schematics.

Follow all safety procedures and regulations when handling refrigerants, operating electrical systems, and working with pressurized equipment.
Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with federal, state, and local codes, including environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling.
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures when working on equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
Complete safety training provided by company.
