About the role
- The RHVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment in commercial environments.
- The role requires a solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, inspecting refrigerant levels, calibrating sensors, and checking for system leaks.

Requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment DMV check, drug screening and background check.
- EPA Certification is required.
- OSHA 10-Hour certification required within 30 days of employment (company provided training available).
Nice to have
- Ability to store company issued vehicle preferred.
- Refrigeration license required as defined by State(s) regulations and preferred in all areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Skills
- Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment necessary for RHVAC installation and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as refrigeration principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical diagrams and schematics.

- Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with federal, state, and local codes, including environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling.
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and other safety procedures when working on equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Complete safety training provided by company.
