Responsibilities

  • This applies not only to our guests but to each other: we desire to help facilitate your own spiritual growth in a community of believers, sharing in joys and difficulties together.
  • The Cabin Leader's primary role is to supervise a group of students, as well as guide hikes, sleep in the cabin, lead activities, and help students grow through program elements.
  • Lead and live with students in cabin groups according to program needs for 3, 4, and 5-day sessions
  • Develop professional relationships with guests (students, teachers, chaperones, administrators) and coworkers
  • Perform duties and/or participate in activities including:
  • Support Program Instructors in the teaching of the curriculum
  • Lead various program elements including rock wall, archery, crafts, songs, games, chapels, worship, skits, dances, and team building exercises
