About the role
- The Medical Assistant is responsible for direct patient care including initial greeting, intake assessment, lab procedures, vital signs assessment, communicating data to the provider, and following through until discharge.
- Record the information provided by the patients, along with vital statistics and information such as test results, in their electronic health records.
- Escorts patients to the examination rooms and prepares them for the physician.

- Follow operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, perform preventive maintenance, and call for repairs to keep equipment operating.
