About the role

Our modern way of life, from smartphones to skyscrapers, starts as ore in the ground.
This is done by drilling hundreds of surgical holes into the earth to recover cylindrical core samples.
Mines are becoming harder to find, which is a danger to the future of civilization.

Design electrical layouts and schematics for drilling equipment, including power distribution, controls, and instrumentation
Develop wiring diagrams, harness routings, and cabinet layouts, ensuring maintainability and compliance
Perform load calculations, short-circuit/arc flash analysis, and ensure systems meet relevant codes (NEC, NFPA)
Provide field support for commissioning, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements
Build alongside the best engineers, explorers, and operators in the world.

Must be willing to work from our headquarters in El Segundo
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed Join Durin to build the future of mining.
Extensive experience with industrial electrical systems, panel design, and power distribution.
Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical design (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
Knowledge of PLC I/O wiring, instrumentation selection, and grounding/shielding best practices.
Familiarity with relevant standards (NEC, UL508A, CE) and safe working practices.
Experience diagnosing complex electrical issues in demanding field environments.
