About the role
- In this role, you will provide technical leadership in delivering water and wastewater solutions for municipal and public agency clients.
- You will also play a key role in mentoring staff, managing projects, and contributing to the growth and success of our water practice.
- This position can be based out of our office in Louisville, KY or Jeffersonville, IN.
Responsibilities
- Providing leadership in the planning, design, and execution of major water/wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in utility infrastructure.
- Preparing project documents and designs, conducting analyses, interpreting data, and planning and coordinating specific aspects of water/wastewater engineering work.
- Performing QA/QC on project deliverables, ensuring the technical accuracy and constructability of water/wastewater engineering designs and documentation.
- Lochgroup fully supports and maintains compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Typically requires 12+ years of relevant and progressive water and wastewater engineering experience.
- Proven success in managing large and/or complex projects.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software and tools.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools for design, project management, and analysis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Valid Driver's License
