About the role

  • Job Description Job Description Provides safe and effective delivery of patient care including assessment, interpreting, planning and implementing treatments for voice, laryngeal, and airway disorders.
  • Engages in collaborative research within the department as time allows, and the dissemination of research findings through presentations, conferences, and publications.
  • Participates in activities appropriate to a member of the Lions Voice Clinic of the Department of Otolaryngology.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited graduate program
  • Licensed or ability to acquire Minnesota Licensure
  • Clinical experience with performing and interpreting laryngeal imaging, laryngeal function studies, and comprehensive voice assessment and treatment
  • Personal experience with vocal performance (spoken and/or sung)
  • Successful completion of relevant ASHA-approved clinical fellowship
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in good standing
  • Meets threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
  • Provides excellent patient care/service
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with partners and staff
  • Detail oriented, efficient, adaptive, and self-motivated
  • Education focused and a creative problem-solver
  • Voice and Upper airway clinical fellowship training
  • Prior research experience

Compensation

  • 80,388.00 - 116,562.00 USD Annual
