About the role
- This is a role for someone who wants to define what a modern cloud platform looks like in an era where AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built and run.
Responsibilities
- Drive prioritization across Render's platform investments, balancing the leverage of foundational capabilities against near-term product and business needs and being able to negotiate those tradeoffs.
- Partner deeply with Engineering & other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's core infrastructure, ensuring architectural decisions optimize for long-term reliability, performance, and extensibility.
- You'll own the base layer of our stack, so having the dexterity to understand the shape of our other Product investment areas is essential.
- Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how Render's platform primitives need to evolve to serve AI-native builders, from compute and orchestration to storage and runtime.
- Experience building AI agents or infrastructure.
- We will also work with you to create a supportive plan of return.
