Responsibilities

  • Blending historic character with modern lifestyle design, The Industrialist in downtown Pittsburgh offers an authentic guest experience.
  • The House Attendant supports the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces, as well as delivering linens and supplies to room attendants.
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Deliver clean linens, supplies, and amenities to room attendants.
  • Clean and maintain public restrooms and lobby areas.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
  • Hotel or hospitality experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures preferred.

Skills

  • Good time management and communication skills.
