About the role

  • The Post-Secondary Placement student will assist in event planning, delivery, directing teams and vendors to ensure the completion of the event agenda and respond to last minute adjustments.
  • They will also help raise funds for various programs and initiatives that will help decrease stigma associated with mental illness & addictions.

Responsibilities

  • Help with the stages to plan, execute, and deliver on CMHA events including event agenda, site preparation, catering, registration, entertainment, and marketing materials
  • Help design and implement stewardship and recognition strategies which will ensure all donors receive correspondence, reports and updates in a timely manner Peel Dufferin Branch

Requirements

  • Experience working with non-profits or social services agencies an asset
  • Ability to travel within and around Peel Region and Dufferin County.
  • proactively develop contingency plans when required
  • Although we operate within a hybrid workplace model, staff are required to have on-site and/or community presence as per program and client needs.

Compensation

  • Assist with the annual United Way Greater Toronto campaign through the development of new ideas, planning, and execution
